Net Control for the Shake Out event on Oct 21 will be out of the Communications Room in the basement at Station 45. The current plan is to use the GMRS network. At this morning’s Tuesday coffee there was some doubt as to whether that would be possible because there is no link to the Lafayette repeater. I know several people have been working on the link project. I been asked to get an update on the implementation and what steps are needed to be done. If it is not possible to complete the link, the plan calls for the mobile GMRS repeater to be place up on Donald Dr. on the 21st.
